Founding Backend Engineer

About The Role
We’re looking for a talented and versatile Software Engineer to join our team in New York. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping and maintaining our consensus protocol, while collaborating across teams to drive technical innovation in the crypto space.


What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and optimize components of the consensus protocol

• Contribute across the stack and adapt to various engineering challenges

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including research, product, and infrastructure

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in Golang, Rust, C, or C++

• 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience

• Solid understanding of and experience in cryptography or blockchain technologies

• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
