We’re looking for a Frontend Developer who is curious, proactive, and excited to craft intuitive, user-friendly web interfaces. You’ll be part of a fast-paced startup environment where you’ll have ownership, autonomy, and support to grow.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain frontend features using React.js, JavaScript, and modern web tools.
- Build reusable, modular components using React Hooks, props, and state management.
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs using Axios or Fetch.
- Structure scalable projects using React Router and follow best practices in routing and file management.
- Style interfaces using Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or custom CSS.
- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
- Participate in code reviews, daily standups, and contribute to improving team workflows.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Solid experience with React.js and React Hooks
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Familiarity with tools like VS Code, Chrome DevTools, and Git/GitHub
- Understanding of component-based architecture and responsive design
- Basic knowledge of routing with React Router
- Good communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
- Familiarity with TypeScript
- Understanding of unit testing or tools like Jest/React Testing Library
- Prior work in startups, SaaS, or HR tech
