Front End Developer

Senior Software Developer (Frontend Focused) We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with deep expertise in frontend technologies, especially React + NextJS, TypeScript, and Google Material UI. As a key member of our software development team, you'll work on cutting-edge web applications, contributing to both frontend and backend solutions in an Azure cloud environment. You will play a critical role in driving UI/UX design, API integration, and cloud-based solutions while maintaining a focus on scalable, performant, and user-centric applications. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Frontend Development: Lead the design and development of intuitive, high-performance user interfaces using React + NextJS, leveraging TypeScript and Google Material UI. Collaborate with Agile/SCRUM Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams in sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives to deliver high-quality features on time. Cloud and API Integration: Design and implement APIs, integrate frontend components with backend services, and contribute to cloud-based solutions using Azure. Scalable Solutions: Ensure proper integration of frontend applications with existing backend systems, including working with structured (SQL) and unstructured (NoSQL) databases. Code Quality & Mentoring: Maintain high standards of software development by conducting code reviews, debugging, optimizing frontend code, and mentoring junior developers in best practices. DevOps Practices: Assist in implementing DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes for frontend and backend systems. Performance Optimization: Identify and address bottlenecks in both frontend and backend systems, ensuring optimal performance across all layers of the application stack. Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with security standards, especially related to the handling of sensitive information in both frontend and backend applications. Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest trends in frontend development, Azure cloud technologies, and modern development practices. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years focused on frontend technologies (React + NextJS, TypeScript, Google Material UI). Proficiency in Backend Technologies: Strong experience with API development, Python (FastAPI/Flask), and integrating backend services with frontend applications. Cloud Experience: Expertise with Azure cloud services and integrating frontend applications with cloud-based solutions. Experience with structured (SQL) and unstructured (NoSQL) databases for building scalable solutions. Agile/SCRUM experience and the ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments. Knowledge of modern software development practices, including debugging, profiling, and memory management for both frontend and backend systems. A passion for building scalable, high-quality software with a focus on the user experience and code performance. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation tools. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing both frontend UI/UX and backend performance. Experience mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative team environment. Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and performance monitoring tools in Azure. Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is a plus but not required.
