We have an exciting opportunity for a Front-End Developer to join Lumin’s multidisciplinary product team. You’ll be instrumental in creating elegant, performant, and accessible digital experiences across our modern web stack. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building responsive, accessible, and user-friendly front-end features using React and TypeScript.

• Translating design system components and visual concepts into clean, maintainable code.

• Collaborating with product owners and developers to refine and standardise UI/UX across multiple products.

• Contributing to and maintaining front-end architecture and shared libraries with a focus on reusability and scalability.

• Integrating with headless CMS platforms (like WordPress) to deliver dynamic content-driven experiences.

• Supporting projects across shifting priorities, communicating effectively and adapting quickly.

• Writing and maintaining robust automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) for front-end code.

• Participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Troubleshooting and resolving production front-end issues in a proactive, structured way.

• Supporting a high-performing engineering team through mentoring, peer reviews, and knowledge sharing.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3/Sass, and modern JavaScript frameworks — especially React and TypeScript.

• Proven experience building accessible, performant, and mobile-responsive applications from design files or systems.

• Knowledge of headless CMS workflows (particularly WordPress), including PHP for templating and integration.

• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs, with strong debugging and data handling capabilities.

• Comfort with test-driven development and a solid grasp of front-end testing frameworks.

• Proficiency in Git/GitHub for version control and code collaboration.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deploy processes.

• A strong understanding of web performance optimisation, cross-browser/device compatibility, and core web vitals.

• A natural drive to share knowledge, improve processes, and contribute positively to team culture

• A flexible, proactive mindset and the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
