Intern - Backend Engineer (Node.js)

Join Olee.ai as a Backend Engineering Intern and help build scalable backend systems using Node.js. Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable server?side applications using Node.js.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.

• Optimize database schemas and queries for performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with front?end and DevOps teams on microservice architecture.

• Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and frameworks like Express or NestJS.

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

• Python experience or familiarity is a plus.

• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker (and Kubernetes a plus).

• Excellent problem?solving skills and a passion for continuous learning.

• A strong portfolio of personal projects demonstrating practical coding experience.
