About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong and solution-oriented Senior Backend Engineer to join our backend team in Hyderabad. This is an onsite role suited for someone with deep technical expertise, especially in backend frameworks, and a passion for clean, scalable systems. While prior managerial experience is appreciated, it’s not mandatory — we're open to grooming the right candidate into a team leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using NestJS, Python, and Node.js

• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth project delivery

• Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to long-term tech strategy

• Optimize performance and scalability of backend systems

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes

• Review code, mentor junior developers, and ensure best coding practices

• Contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery schedules

Must-Have Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in backend development

• Strong experience with at least two of the following:

NestJS, Python, Node.js

• Solid understanding of JavaScript and asynchronous programming

• Familiarity with RESTful API design and database integration

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Good communication and collaboration abilities

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms like

AWS or Azure

• Prior experience mentoring or leading a team

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
